Situated in Townsville's harsh coastal environment, the steel framework of the shade sails at the Tobruk Memorial Baths required lasting protection against chlorine exposure, constant UV radiation and highly corrosive conditions.
The helipad at Tumut Hospital required a prominent, anti-slip surface. To meet this requirement, we utilised Dulux® Luxafloor® LGE as the primer, followed by Dulux® Luxafloor® PTX with Dulux Luxafloor® Aggregates® for slip-resistance. The final touch was a topcoat of Dulux® Weathermax® HBR, ensuring a glossy finish with vibrant color. Images courtesy to Attention to Detail.
Umbagong District Park in Australian Capital Territory replaced three timber bridges with steel footbridges. Expert fabrication and coating ensured safety, durability, and a unique rusted finish that blends well with the natural setting.
The University of SA West Campus' balustrades, stairewells, structural steel and powdercoated window frames required significant maintenance work. Durebild STE surface tolerant epoxy is the perfect first coat for such maintenance projects, and the Weathermax HBR two pack polyurethane provides a highly durable, graffiti-resistant finish that also resists solvents used for the removal of sticky tape, blu-tac and other residues.
Three custom coatings systems were used to protect steel components in the University of Tasmania's new multi-storey teaching and learning facility. Cutting edge industrial design features a stunning matt finish on all exposed steel.
