Cooling towers within the ANSTO nuclear research reactor are protected with a three-coat system comprising Durebild® STE and Weathermax® HBR. Both are ideal maintenance coatings and suitable for brush and roller application. Image courtesy of ANSTO.

The Ecogen Power Station stop locks required a coating that would protect steel against corrosion while immersed, and Durebild STE GF glass flake reinforced epoxy was chosen for its excellent barrier protection against corrosion and chemical attack.

The Hazelwood Dredger is subject to corrosive coal dust and abrasion. Duremax® GFX glass flake epoxy protects this massive machine.

The Rising Conveyor at Loy Yang B Power Station Latrobe Valley is subject to corrosive coal dust. A zinc-rich primer and heavy duty glass flake epoxy barrier coat now protect the structural steel.

The Oakey Power Station required high performance protection from corrosion and intense UV exposure. Our workhorse combination of Durebild STE and Weathermax HBR was selected for durability and to minimise maintenance.

The White Bay Power Station in Sydney is undergoing cultural remediation to restore the iconic chimney stacks.
