According to the Adelaide Park Lands Preservation Association, the University footbridge is said to be the first welded steel bridge in South Australia. Built in 1937, the Bridge is in remarkable condition, and was repainted in 2012 with Durebild STE and Weathermax HBR.
When this 25-year-old steel pedestrian bridge required an update, a three-product system was needed to deliver long-term durability. A priming coat of Zincanode 402 was followed by Durebild STE and Weathermax HBR.
