The Science Place JCU’s Townsville Campus encompasses around 10,000 square metres of new purpose built education and research education spaces. The externally exposed steelwork is protected with Zincanode 402 zinc-rich primer, Dureamx GPE epoxy intermediate and Weathermax HBR two pack polyurethane to protect against corrosion, UV degradation and graffiti.

Durebild STE and Weathermax HBR were chosen for Brisbane's heritage-listed Skyneedle, to ensure long lasting protection in a high UV environment.

The Gateway WA project's noise walls, retaining walls, bridges and abutments are protected against spalling and defacement by graffiti by a high performance anti carbonation protective coating system that is also resistant to UV degradation and harsh graffiti removing chemicals.
