Aurizon locomotives are fabricated and built in Newcastle Australia. As each part is fabricated, it is painted in the complete Dulux Protective Coatings system prior to install. Once completely installed the main cab sections are then completed using Acrathane IF in the livery as required by each customer.

These steel dolphins were spray painted in Luxepoxy UHB before being taken to Barrow Island and erected. As the steelwork is subject to an extremely corrosive marine environment, sacrificial protection is inadequate, therefore high performance barrier protection is required.
