Bribie Island Bridge's reinforced concrete sections face corrosive salt-laden winds and therefore are at risk of concrete spalling. The bridge was sealed with a chloride ion resistant coating system comprising Luxepoxy Sealer and Dulux 955 Acrashield to protect against spalling.

Automotive workshop floors require floor coatings that are easy to clean and are aesthetically pleasing. The Luxafloor LGE offers a smooth finish that works equally well as a stand-alone floor coating, or as a primer for subsequent Luxafloor products. In this case, the grey finish was contrasted with Designer Flake, which was then sealed over with Luxafloor CP, a clear polyurethane.

The precast concrete panels of Buckley St Essendon Rail Underpass require heavy duty protection against concrete carbonation (the major cause of concrete spalling) and defacement by graffiti. The coating system of Durebild STE surface tolerant epoxy, and topcoats Weathermax HBR (coloured polyurethane), Quantum FX (metallic polyurethane) and Quantum Clearcoat (clear gloss polyurethane) offers both, with eye-popping results! The concrete panels were painted in shop, then erected on site.
