The Southern Midlands Council's Oatlands Aquatic Centre was at risk of corrosion due to its exposure to water and humidity. Dulux® Protective Coatings provided a unique coating system to ensure the longevity of the facility.

Protection of the steel tank internal against corrosion was provided in this case by Duremax GPE general purpose epoxy. The exterior is protected against corrosion, UV ingress and harsh graffiti removal agents.

Duremax GPE ZP and Weathermax HBR provide an ideal protective system for steel tanks. For oil and diesel storage on a Queensland farm, getting the surface preparation right was a key part of our service.

At a Perth packaging warehouse, protection for the concrete floor was achieved with Luxafloor LGE and Luxafloor PTX. Specially designed for industrial environments, Luxafloor coatings offer durability, colour retention, high gloss and solvent resistance.

Orbis is a seven storey apartment building located near tranquil Albert Park Lake and the vibrant South Melbourne shopping precinct. The stunning façade comprises curved fiberglass panels, which were carefully hand sanded and primed with Dulux® Durepon® Sandable Primer and spray painted in Dulux® Quantum FX, a bright metallic polyurethane with reflective metallic flakes. The metallic coating was finished with a coat of Quantum Clearcoat, a high gloss clear polyurethane to impart depth of colour and enhanced metallic effect and enhanced UV protection. The result is a spectacular, sculptural façade that responds to the ever-changing colours of the days and seasons, whether reflecting the sun’s rays with golden brilliance, meeting a cloudy day with a serene sheen or glimmering under night time lighting. The high performance nature of the coating system also provides long term durability and low maintenance, whilst maintaining asset value and street appeal.

These large tanks were painted internally with Durebild TLE tank lining epoxy and externally with Durepon P14 for corrosion protection, Durebild STE for barrier protection and Weathermax HBR for UV protection.
