At a grain export facility, protecting the grain and the local wildlife was as important as protecting the steel and concrete. Durebild STE as an intermediate enabled dry ice blasting. Zincanode 402 to prime and Weathermax HBR for the topcoat completed the solution.

The Exxon Mobil (Esso) boilers required a lining that tolerated high temperatures, and approved the use of Apexior No. 1. The boilers were successfully painted in 2009.

Federation Square's steelwork was almost entirely coated in an inorganic zinc silicate primer Zincanode 304, a barrier coat, Duremax GPE and a gloss polyurethane topcoat, Luxathane R where exposed. Hidden and encased steelwork is protected with the inorganic zinc silicate only.
