The Kanangra Hostel Deloraine structural steelwork is blast cleaned steel and protected with Zincanode 402 zinc rich primer, Duremax GPE intermediate barrier coat and Quantum FX bright metallic polyurethane, sealed with Quantum Clearcoat to highlight the metallic lustre and protect against graffiti and UV deterioration.

This bridge for cyclists and walkers promises to be a Brisbane landmark. A three coat AS/NZS 2312.1 PUR5 system complies with the requirements of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, as outlined in TMR TN144.

The Kempsey Amenities Block's sandstone block walls are protected against defacement by graffiti with Surfaceshield HD, an invisible surface treatment that prevents the penetration of graffiti, allowing the graffiti to be removed with moderate pressure hot water wash and graffiti removal agents. The sandstone's appearance is unaltered by the surface treatment, which prevents water ingress and water staining, yet allows the sandstone to breathe.
