A 600-tonne project involving two large span steel bridge sections over the busy Kwinana Freeway, Aubin Grove train station required a long-term coatings solution to provide barrier protection, UV stability and graffiti resistance.

Bendigo Freeway Extension Overpass is prtected against spalling and graffiti attack by the use of Durebild STE surface tolerant epoxy adn Acrathane IF, a two pack epoxy acrylic with excellent resistance to graffiti removal agents.

The precast concrete panels of Buckley St Essendon Rail Underpass require heavy duty protection against concrete carbonation (the major cause of concrete spalling) and defacement by graffiti. The coating system of Durebild STE surface tolerant epoxy, and topcoats Weathermax HBR (coloured polyurethane), Quantum FX (metallic polyurethane) and Quantum Clearcoat (clear gloss polyurethane) offers both, with eye-popping results! The concrete panels were painted in shop, then erected on site.

A protective coatings system was designed to suit Bunbury Lighthouse's harsh coastal location and distinctive chequered exterior.

For the Canberra Metro light rail, galvanised and mild steel elements required a premium, low maintenance finish. Quantum V92 delivered on the aesthetics and durability. Duremax GPE ZP and Zincanode 402 provided corrosion resistance.

More than 100 metres above sea level, the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse is one of the most popular attractions in WA’s Margaret River Region. Due to its' proximity to the coast the repaint of it's steel surfaces needed to withstand a highly corrosive environment.
