At a Perth packaging warehouse, protection for the concrete floor was achieved with Luxafloor LGE and Luxafloor PTX. Specially designed for industrial environments, Luxafloor coatings offer durability, colour retention, high gloss and solvent resistance.

The busy Pacific Fair Shopping Centre Valet Car Park is open 7 days a week during the busiest shopping times, and the concrete floor is protected against oil stains and dirt with Luxafloor® LGE.

For the aviation museum at Scone Memorial Airport, the vast concrete floor required a smooth but non-slip finish that could withstand heavy foot traffic and harsh lighting. Easy application was a key factor.

Originally known as Shell House, 1 Spring Street Melbourne is a major office tower in Melbourne, designed by renown modernist Architect, Harry Seidler. Construction of Shell House was completed in 1989, and is managed by CBRE Property Management. This building is of architectural significance, and is listed on the Victorian Heritage database. The busy basement carpark services the 28 storey building, so to minimise disruption for the occupants, the floor was primed with DULUX Duremax® GPE using Quickturn Hardener, and topcoated in DULUX Luxafloor® FCF fast cure floor coating. The colour chosen was AS2700 N35 Light Grey. The floor was ready to receive vehicles the day after application was completed, and stands up to regular cleaning well.

The restaurant required a low odour, fast drying clear floor coating. With less than 10 grams VOC per litre, virtually odourless, and very short dry time, Luxafloor ECO2 fulfilled the owner’s design brief. As soon as the coating had fully cured, Silt@Seaport was ready for business and the only odours the customers could detect were tempting food smells!

The helipad at Tumut Hospital required a prominent, anti-slip surface. To meet this requirement, we utilised Dulux® Luxafloor® LGE as the primer, followed by Dulux® Luxafloor® PTX with Dulux Luxafloor® Aggregates® for slip-resistance. The final touch was a topcoat of Dulux® Weathermax® HBR, ensuring a glossy finish with vibrant color. Images courtesy to Attention to Detail.
