Dulux Protective Coatings' flagship three-coat system provided anti-graffiti and steel protection for two bridges in Margaret River. Customised, durable coating systems were also provided for under beam areas, concrete piers and abutments.

A new pedestrian overpass in inner Perth required a whole asset coatings solution to resist environmental and human impacts. The fast-drying Luxafloor Express range was ideal for the pathways. Durebild STE and Weathermax HBR protected the steel railings.

Oakleigh Park Pedestrian Bridge is a steel railway overpass bridge that connects South Burnie with the CBD. The steelwork is protected against corrosion and graffiti by a heavy duty, corrosion-resistant protective coating system comprising Zincanode 402 zinc rich epoxy primer, Duremax GPE epoxy intermediate coat and Weathermax HBR high build recoatable polyurethane.

For a colourful Perth bridge needing UV protection, Zincanode 402, Duremax GPE and Weathermax HBR protected the sides. Durezinc i90 strengthened the steel deck against corrosion while Acrathane IF Clearcoat shielded artwork from graffiti.

In a coastal environment, Bridge D at Port Kembla Steelworks required heavy duty corrosion resistance. Durebild STE GF high build barrier coating and Weathermax HBR high build recoatable polyurethane delivered lasting protection.
