Federation Square’s steelwork was predominantly coated with Zincanode 304 inorganic zinc silicate primer, Duremax GPE barrier coat, and a Luxathane® R gloss polyurethane topcoat, now superseded by Luxathane® HPX, where exposed. Hidden and encased steelwork is protected with the inorganic zinc silicate only.
