The Victoria Park Grandstand refurbishment required a simple and practical coating system that would offer good protection of steelwork in a sheltered and mild environment. Luxaprime ZP is a single pack primer formulated with zinc phosphate for corrosion protection. The topcoat used was Metalshield Premium, a single pack silicone enamel that offers superior gloss retention than conventional single pack enmels.

Application of a high-quality coating system on the external mild steel surfaces of the Whitten Oval Training Facility exceeding the standards set out by AS2312.1:2014 PUR 4. The coating system provides excellent corrosion protection, adhesion, barrier protection, durability, UV resistance, and weathering performance.

The WIN Stadium is a major sports venue in a severely corrosive coastal location, and subject to intense UV radiation, corrosive salt laden air and the occasional "sandblast" on windy days. As with all public spaces, protection against graffiti is also important. A high durability high build epoxy intermediate barrier coat and polyurethane topcoat tick all the boxes.
