For a major mine expansion, Duremax GFX and Weathermax HBR were selected to protect 700 steel pipes from corrosion and UV exposure. Dulux Protective Coatings supplied 16,000 litres of paint over a five-month production schedule.

Oaky Creek Coal Mine is subject to corrosive coal dust and intense UV radiation. A high performance, high build barrier coating system is required to protect against corrosion and deterioration.

The Sibelco - Kunwarara Mine is subject to abrasion, impact and dust. The steelwork is protected with Duremax GFX glass flake epoxy.

Storing and handing highly corrosive ammonium nitrate, XBulk's 90-tonne vessels and transfer augers required heavy duty coatings applied in line with mining specifications. High build, glass flake technology led this specification.
