The Glen Eira Sports & Aquatic Centre's internal steelwork is exposed to a highly corrosive environment with high humidity and high levels of corrosive airborne pool chemicals. The structural steelwork therefore requires a heavy duty, corrosion-resistant protective coating system comprising Zincanode 402 zinc rich epoxy primer, Duremax GPE epoxy intermediate coat and Weathermax HBR high build recoatable polyurethane.
