The ocean’s severe environment rapidly depletes metallic zinc to zinc corrosion products. Whilst zinc-rich coatings provide excellent sacrificial corrosion protection, additional heavy-duty barrier protection is the tested and preferred way to extend the design life of a steel structure. Dulux Protective Coatings provides the zinc-rich primers for galvanic corrosion protection as well as compatible intermediate barrier coats and topcoats to complete the job.
